My Story…
My interest in nutrition began when as a young child, I observed my Mom cooking…
Okay, for real, my interest in (or rather, obsession with) nutrition started with a science fair project when I was 16….
From there I pursued my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, double majoring in nutritional sciences and music. When I graduated…
…I created a fruit sculpture to celebrate…
…and then started my PhD, where I conducted nutrition research.
I completed my PhD…

…and MD at the University of Toronto.

I completed my residency in Family Medicine at Women’s College Hospital, in Toronto.

And currently, I doing additional training in family medicine at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.

Overall, I’m devoted to translating nutrition science into clinical settings as a means to prevent disease and help patients live happy and healthy lives.
In my spare time I enjoying playing the piano…

…tennis, yoga, running, walking, embroidery, writing and reading.
